We had a fabulous week in Vine cottage. The cottage is beautifully presented and clean, and the welcome pack was lovely. We arrived at the start of the heatwave, so with 3 dogs it made it a bit more challenging as to where to go. We went to Holkham Hall on the first day which we really enjoyed as we were able to visit the beautiful garden there with dogs. Other places we visited were walking from Morston quay to Blakeney, Blakeney to Cley on Sea, a circular walk from Weybourne beach through the woods and the train station which we really enjoyed. Brancaster beach is amazing, a huge expanse of beautiful sand for dogs to enjoy. An evening at Wells for an ice cream was enjoyable. There are lots of great places to eat. We ate out most days, the Cromer crab was wonderful at Thornham Deli… The village of Great Snoring is so beautiful, the period houses are picture perfect, the gardens were delightful to see, there is a mile circular route from the house which we did a couple of times a day, and there is also a 4 mile walk to Walsingham and back which is down a partly shaded track. We stocked up at the farm shop and then walked back. The Social Club in the village was welcoming. We attended the bingo evening and my husband even won the top prize with a local. It was only open at the weekends which was a shame. There is lots to see and do in this area, and because of the weather we didn’t do as much as we would normally have done. So we will have to make another trip to do more.

Really enjoyed our recent stay in Cherry Tree Cottage, in an ideal quiet village setting. The cottage was really atmospheric with low ceilings and oak beams, tastefully decorated and furnished, which matched the ambience of the cottage. The oudoor courtyard, shared with 2 other cottages, was well maintained and had a shared lawned area with covered barbeque facilities. The cottages are within easy reach of all the tourist sites accross North Norfolk via quet country roads. We can highly recommend Clevency Cottages for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

This is our second stay at Clevency Cottages and it has been as great as the first time. The cottages are just beautiful, and when you add in the tranquility and peacefulness of the place you know you are onto a winner. I love hearing the church clock strike the hour day and night. You have the lovely Walsingham Way just round the corner - the perfect place to walk your dog. It’s a great to travel to the coast, especially East Runton and Old Hunstanton. We shall be returning! Our dog enjoyed it as much as we did as you can see from the photo.

A beautiful place to stay and celebrate any special occasions. The cottage is a lovely welcoming place to stay. We visited beautiful Holt and had a birthday dinner at Michael’s Bistro, visited Holkham beach and took a boat trip out with Temple seals. A magical Christmas break. Thank you to Karen.
