Fakenham Fairways

A beautiful campsite with well spaced pitches with plenty of trees and shrubs to give a spacious feel. The site is obviously well cared for and the facilities are modern and clean The warm welcome from Jacqui and Pen was lovely. We were provided with some useful information of the nearby area. The campsite was very peaceful and quiet. There was a little road noise but it is not too intrusive. Its position makes it easy to reach the north Norfolk coast and is a campsite that we hope to return to in the future.

We had recently purchased our first Campervan and this was our maiden outing so I didn’t know what to expect from any campsite. Upon arrival the place just seemed to draw us in. Good signage which always helps and then we was met by Jaqui and Penny who were both friendly and inviting. We were shown around the facilities and then shown our pitch. The whole site is well laid out, organised and safe for a field environment because the ladies operate a secure barrier via access card which offers peace of mind when off walking and exploring the area. We had an adult hard standing pitch with electric hook-up but our cable is only 10metres and we need about 11metres to reach the hook up so I popped back to reception and Penny immediately lent me a 15 metre cable for free. The site also provides family pitches in a separate area which provides noise control for those who want a little peace. There are tented areas in both sections along with hookups of either 10am and 16amp which are reasonably priced. There is a clubroom where you can buy a latte or beer including a gluten free option and a crazy golf and driving range on site too. The washing up facilities are clean with three sinks and located within east reach of all camped areas . The shower and toilet areas are also modern and clean with access via a code. There is a good waste area including chemical disposal point, 2 fresh drinking water taps, grey water drains and separate (general & recycling) rubbish facilities. There are even a stack of bricks for people to use with a disposable bbq to raise it off the ground! The site is just a 6 minute drive to Fakenham town centre or 20 min walk and also 20 mins by car to the lovely Wells Next the Sea. If you want to stay somewhere where you feel welcomed and want value for money, I highly recommend this place.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Fakenham Fairways! The atmosphere was so warm, peaceful, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and always smiling — communication and customer service were excellent throughout our stay. The campsite itself is beautifully maintained. The grass was perfectly cut, and the camping and tent pitches were prepared to a very high standard. Everything was clean, tidy, and well organised. Water, electricity, and rubbish bins were all easily accessible, which made our stay very comfortable. This is a fantastic place for families with children. The playground was amazing, and there was so much open space for the kids to run around, play football, baseball, badminton, and enjoy outdoor games safely. After our day trips, the children could still enjoy themselves on the playground and burn off their energy — they were so happy here! The peace and quiet at this campsite are truly incredible. It’s something you really have to experience yourself. The location is also perfect — beautiful beaches are only around 20 minutes away by car. On-site, you can also buy cold drinks and snacks, which was very convenient. We also loved that there is an opportunity to play golf for an additional fee, and you can have a barbecue as well. Everything was simply perfect. This is honestly the best campsite we have ever visited, and we highly recommend it from the bottom of our hearts — both for families with children and for couples looking for peace and relaxation. An amazing site that we've visitd a number of times over many years. They do a great job of managing couples and families separately which suits us if we're visiting on our own or with the grandchildren. The site really is suitable for all, incredible owners and facilities, the one site we return to year after year.
