North Norfolk's quiet coastal villages sit within reach of the Norfolk Coast Path, with sandy beaches stretching along the shore and the Broads to explore inland. Forge Cottage occupies one of these villages, positioned close enough to the beach for a walk before breakfast, yet set back on its own patio with a private garden. The shop and pub are a short stroll away, and Norwich lies within easy driving distance for a day of cathedral visits and browsing.
The cottage sleeps four across two double bedrooms and one bathroom. Its lower ground floor holds the kitchen, fitted with an electric cooker, microwave and washing machine; upstairs sits the living and dining space, with a TV, DVD player and electric woodburner, opening onto a conservatory. Bed linen, Wi-Fi and heating are provided. On-site parking means you can leave your car and explore on foot. Note that smoking is not permitted inside.
This suits a quiet coastal break for two couples or a family, with enough space to spread out but not so much that it feels cavernous. The location works equally well as a base for Cromer's pier and crab restaurants, the historic market towns inland, or simply sitting with a book while the North Sea does its thing a few hundred yards away.
