Gresham Hall Glamping - Oxeye Daisy
North Norfolk
View on Google MapsPhoto: Gresham Hall Glamping
North Norfolk's rolling countryside surrounds Gresham Hall Glamping, where Oxeye Daisy occupies its own patch of meadow backing onto the Felbrigg Estate. A flint church marks the horizon. Walking distance away, the National Trust property opens onto woodland paths, a walled garden and a café; the estate's back gate connects directly to the glamping ground. Cromer and Sheringham—traditional seaside towns with beaches and piers—are within three miles, and Sheringham Park lies equally close for days out exploring the wider region.
The bell tent sleeps four: a double bed for adults and two pull-out singles for children, all on natural matting with a wood-burning stove for warmth on cool evenings. A separate shower room and toilet sit beside the sleeping area. The kitchen corner holds a microwave and fridge. Outside, a fire pit, barbecue and garden furniture sit in your private front area, with plenty of open meadow for children to play. Parking for two cars is on site, and an electric charging point is available. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided. A welcome pack and basic cooking equipment—pots, pans, utensils—mean you can prepare simple meals; a hamper approach rather than a full kitchen.
The setting suits families wanting to combine countryside walking with easy access to the Norfolk coast. No smoking in the tent. Check-in is after 16:00, departure before 10:00.

My sister and I pitched up for one night so we could be kids again and for easy access to the coast for fossil hunting. We loved the site, beautiful location, facilities were great, our only suggestion is to reset the shower temperature to a lower setting for the summer, we love a hot shower, but water was too hot! Otherwise, thank you we thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay :)

Stayed 5 nights with our own tent and loved it. Good facilities, great location close to blue flag beaches and local amenities just a few minutes drive away. There is also a fantastic camping store in West Runton should you need any essentials. Georgy and the whole team were lovely. This is the hidden little gem you've been looking for especially for the glamping experience, family friendly, clean and tidy. Would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful get away.

The location is fabulous. What I would say is this is glamping not camping! We were charged £10 per dog (seems fair), however the carpet and tent wasn’t cleaned so maybe the dog fees are contributing to the Christmas party fund. No hand soap in one of the toilets, freezing shower, eco washing up liquid was standard liquid from a well known German supermarket (small point but if you don’t live it, don’t advertise it!) Bed very uncomfortable. Electric cooler was full of dirty water. Maybe owners used to have excellent attention to detail which in turn resulted in rave reviews, maybe to be competitive in this climate you have to cut corners! Either way this gem can shine again, it just didn’t shine for us!

Good but not great. The signage could be improved - there is one on the main road but it would be helpful to have one in the village. I like the idea of not having cars next to tents - that was really good. More hooks in the (very small) showers and the toilets would be helpful.
