The site runs to well over 200 pitches — both electric and fully-serviced grass options — so there's plenty of space, though it can feel quite large and less intimate than smaller sites. What visitors say
Nice woodland site, very large and on multiple terraced which at first was quite confusing! Great staff as per usual. Great for West Runton beach. Clean shower block and well maintained generally.

Our first time here and it’s a beautifully kept site stayed over Easter and still very quiet Toilets and showers extremely clean. Walk to pub and sea. Walk around 1 hour along the beach to reach Cromer. Alternatively there is bus and train station that will take you to Norwich. We will definitely be back.

Fab campsite, well maintained to the usual high standards that you would expect on a CAMC site. Toilets and showers are clean, access is by a code which is given to you on arrival. There is an under cover washing up area. The wardens couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, even offered to charge up my Dad's shaver in Reception, nothing is too much trouble for them. The dog walk is good and there is also a dog shower. There is a public bridleway adjacent to the campsite. The views at the top of the campsite are beautiful and the sunsets are incredible. There is a well stocked information room with leaflets for inspiration on days out. Pitches are in glades and there is a toilet and shower block for each area of the campsite. Bear in mind when booking that the pitches are sloping and make sure to bring levelling chocks. The village of West Runton is lovely with a few eateries including a Thai Restaurant, Social Club, caravan accessories shop and convenience shop. Transport links are good - there is a train station and bus routes to Wells next the Sea, Sheringham, Cromer and Norwich.

Very nice site Staff were friendly if provoked to be likewise 50% of the campers Not somewhere we would stay again The site is uneven but stunning, facilities were as you would expect from a club site. The general vibe wasn't that friendly and not what were are used to from other sites we have stayed. If you are after a quiet chilled stay in gorgeous surroundings this site is for you .
