May Cottage suits families with older children, couples or small groups wanting a base for exploring the Norfolk coast. The thatched building is your own for the duration, with three bedrooms sleeping four: a double, a three-quarter double and a single. There's one bathroom with both a bath and shower. The ground floor holds a living room with a Smart TV and DVD player, a separate dining room, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric range, dishwasher and microwave among the essentials. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are provided; heating and electricity are included in the price.
Outside, a large southwest-facing garden with furniture invites you to eat and relax, and you have parking for three cars. A cycle route runs beside the cottage, useful for exploring further afield. The hamlet location puts you about a mile from Bacton beach and within reach of Cromer, Sheringham and Mundesley. The Norfolk Broads, fishing, sailing and golf courses are all accessible from here. A shop and pub are a mile away. One dog stays free. The cottage is not suitable for children under five due to an unfenced pond in the garden, and smoking is not permitted.
