Inside, the space is open-plan living with a kitchen area equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, gas hob, microwave and the usual essentials—flowing into a dining and sitting area. French doors open onto a glass-fronted balcony with sea views. There's one bedroom with a kingsize bed and a bathroom with bath, shower and heated towel rail. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and heating are included. The village has a pub, café and shops within a hundred yards, and a golf course if you've brought clubs. The leisure club at the nearby Woodland Holiday Park offers a pool, sauna and gym. Dog owners should know one pet is welcome. No smoking in the apartment.

From here, you can walk the Norfolk Coast Path or explore quieter inland routes, or simply spend time on the beach. Cromer with its pier and Sheringham with the steam railway are easy drives away. This is a straightforward base for a coastal break in a part of England that rewards a slower pace.
