The Hayloft is a detached barn conversion near Fakenham in North Norfolk, sleeping four across two bedrooms. Everything sits on the ground floor: a living room with a wood burner and Smart TV, a separate dining room, and a kitchen fitted with electric oven, hob and dishwasher. One bedroom has a double bed, the other two singles. The bathroom contains a bath with shower over and heated towel rail. Ground-source underfloor heating runs throughout, and initial logs for the wood burner are provided during the October to March season.

Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included. There is private parking for two cars on site, and an electric car charging point is available on request. A courtyard with garden furniture and a barbecue sits outside. A cot and highchair can be arranged if needed. The property draws water from a bore hole. Smoking is not permitted, though one well-behaved pet is welcome.

Thursford Wood lies nearby, and the property makes a good base for exploring the North Norfolk coast and countryside. An external laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer is available (shared with other properties at the complex).

We stayed here summer 2018 and it was the most horrendous place I have ever stayed in, the filth is hard to describe, this place had not been cleaned in a very long time, grotty floors, dirty furnishings, filthy rugs, moths in the beds, the list goes on and on, on top of that everything was outdated.

A nice little bolt hole in the Norfolk countryside, with nice walks for your dog.
