We spent three nights in the large shepherds hut, for my partner's 40th birthday. David & Lorna made us so welcome. The accomodation is absolutely gorgeous. They left some lovely, thoughtful surprises, including a birthday card, cake and a 'Happy Birthday' banner for the birthday girl! We've stayed in several shepherd huts before, but this is by far the best. It's so spacious and has everything you need for a few relaxing, enjoyable days away from it all, including the lovely hot tub! The site is very clean, beautifully maintained, quiet, private and well located for beaches, pubs, restaurants and shops, if required. We honestly couldn't fault anything and Barleywood has instantly become our first choice for future Norfolk visits. Huge thanks to David & Lorna for a truly special, memorable time. We can't wait to come back soon! xx

Booking is essential as it's a well run popular small site. It's adults only. The toilets and showers are immaculate. The people who run the site are really friendly and into wildlife and nature. There's a brilliant information hub with walks, fresh and frozen produce to buy, a book and dvd swap and plenty of leaflets for trips out. We've visited twice now, in summer and February , there is a small charge for electricity in the winter months. The site is dog friendly and there are quiet country lanes to walk them on. Each pitch has a picnic table, electric hook up and a water tap.

Fantastic CL site. Lovely clean showers/toilets. Owners also have a holiday cottage with hot tub and shepherd huts. Really first class.

Just returned from a fabulous weekend - absolutely loved this site - so much care and attention given to every aspect. Particularly loved the freezer treats - ice creams a welcome luxury for dessert after a hard day at the beach. Layout perfect - plenty of space for each pitch and lovely seating areas to enjoy the views. Great opportunity to catch up with friends too as a luxury shepherds hut and holiday cottage on site. Now our firm Norfolk favourite - so much to do in this area ❤️
