The Mill @ The Mill House

North Norfolk

View on Google Maps

You climb 15 steps to enter a circular tower and immediately find yourself in an open-plan living space that wraps around the building's curve. A freeview smart TV, dining area and kitchen occupy the first floor; the kitchen has what you need to cook properly—electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and coffee machine. Spiral stairs lead up to a double bedroom and bathroom with shower, then further spirals to a second bedroom with a single bed and pull-out single for flexibility. The Mill is a Grade II listed building, originally a working grain mill, and stretches across three storeys in an unusual circular layout that makes the most of its tower shape.

The whole property is yours alone. Essential services—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—are covered, and one dog stays free. Parking for two cars sits on site. A private garden with seating looks out onto grounds with mature trees and wildflower meadow; a five-minute walk along a path takes you to the River Ant, and the How Hill Trust nature reserve is opposite. The location sits deep in the Norfolk Broads countryside, though a six-minute drive reaches a village with pub, shops and butcher. Smoking is not permitted. The property is not suitable for young children.
