Pixies Wood Cottage

North Norfolk's Broads are shaped by water, woodland and marshland that draw birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts year-round. Pixies Wood Cottage sits among this landscape, a detached property surrounded by its own gardens with views across meadows where the river winds through. A dyke marks the garden boundary, adding to the sense of being out in open country while remaining private and secure.

Inside, the cottage holds two bedrooms—a kingsize and two singles (the singles accessed through the main bedroom)—plus one bathroom. Downstairs, the living room has a woodburner and smart TV, the dining room connects to a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, and there's a utility room with a washing machine. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are included. One well-behaved dog stays free and the owners have left doggy extras; guests get hairdryers too. A back garden with seating area and parking for two cars complete the setup. No smoking indoors.

Ludham village is four minutes' drive and has a post office, shop, pub and tearoom. The Broads themselves offer boat hire, kayaking and paddleboarding; Wroxham, eleven minutes away, is the hub for riverside restaurants and day trips. Sandy beaches back onto dunes at Hemsby, Winterton on Sea and Sea Palling. Walking trails crisscross the immediate area, and nearby attractions include BeWILDerwood Adventure Park and Roar Dinosaur Park.
