Barrowmead Cottage

Through the front door of Barrowmead Cottage, you arrive into a comfortable ground floor where the living and dining space centres on a woodburner, and the kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, dishwasher, microwave. Also on this level are two bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with singles) and a bathroom with bath and shower over. Upstairs, a third bedroom with single beds and another bathroom complete the layout. The cottage sleeps six and is yours alone for the duration of your stay.

The property sits on a working farm in a quiet Mendip valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where children can watch the resident cows and wildlife is abundant. A patio with garden furniture and on-site parking are provided. Wi-Fi, electricity and bed linen are included; wood for the burner costs extra. The location puts you within reach of Cheddar Gorge, Blagdon Lake, Wells and Bath, with Weston-super-Mare's beach seven miles away. Churchill, four miles off, has a dry ski slope, sports centre and horse riding. A village shop and pub are two miles distant. No smoking is permitted in the cottage.
