Bacton Beach

Very quiet and on the beach front. Not far from Bacton woods. Shops nearby if you didn't want to drive. Enjoyed our week there as a reset week.

Me and my extended family have been staying here since 1995. My grandad died quite young and he used to fish on the beach outside the caravan park and took us here. I enjoyed holidays here from the age of 5 until my 30s with my own child. We never expect special treatment at all. We just love the quiet and the beach, and fond memories of my grandad. However, since the buy-out we have been far from impressed. Boilers that haven't been serviced in years, frequently break. The caravans always used to be spotless and properly equipped but they've been filthy, full of cobwebs, and dusty without any proper knives, chopping boards, mugs, plates, etc. We bring more and more and more stuff each year because we don't know if we'll have enough plates even. Since the takeover, the disabled-only bungalow built specifically for wheelchair users and people with limited availability has been unavailable due to someone living in it who works at the park. Which means my disabled family members haven't been able to come at all. This is illegal under the equality act. We've pointed this out to them but I falls on deaf ears. We've asked to book caravans for the following years which we have been able to do for the last THIRTY YEARS no problem, but no one gets back to us. So for the first time in 30 years we're giving it a miss. We've received no communication even let alone apologies. So my advice to you if you think you wanted to book a holiday here avoid. I used to recommend this place to anyone but not anymore. Maybe we'll be back one day when someone else owns the park or we get an apology. You'd get cleaner, nicer, more accessible, more equipped and CHEAPER accommodation in an AirBNB.

Lovely caravan ..but the abundance of dogs EVERYWHERE we shan't be going again. There ought to be a warning ! There were 3 dogs in the caravan next to us. OFF THE LEAD ! Dogs all over the beach !

AVOID!! If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I am VERY disappointed by this company I booked my holiday with them in 2023 had it booked a nearly a year and had nothing but problems, kept changing our caravan and then 10 days before we are due to go they decide they don’t have a caravan suitable for our family and cancelled on me! I got a refund but it is besides the point! It’s absolutely disgusting the way we have been treated! They have caused a lot of upset to my family especially my children!
