Donative Holiday Cottages - The Stables
North Warwickshire

The Stables is a converted barn on a working farm between Polesworth and Warton, close to Tamworth. Built from the farm's original outbuildings, it retains character while offering the comforts of a modern cottage. The property is yours alone for the duration of your stay, with private parking and a rear garden where you can sit out or use the gas barbecue.
Downstairs is an open-plan living space with freeview TV and a z-bed for flexible sleeping, plus a full kitchen with electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The main bedroom upstairs is galleried with a kingsize bed and ensuite shower room. A second bedroom on the ground floor has two single beds that zip together, served by a bathroom with bath and shower. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; heating comes from oil central heating. One dog can stay free, though it must be kept on a lead in this sheep country.
A pub sits within a mile. The farm's location makes it a base for exploring the Midlands, whether you're heading into Birmingham or the wider region. The working farm itself—with its cattle and horses—forms part of the setting rather than just a backdrop.

We stayed with our 1 year old and our 3 year old for 5 nights in the Stables. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed and was clean and spacious. The kids loved seeing the horses outside in the mornings. It was a great location for various day trips including Drayton Manor, Twycross Zoo and Conkers. We would love to come back in the summer to appreciate more of the scenery!

A beautiful place to stay. The cottages were clean and comfortable with many extras. A chance to enjoy the views while eating on the patio. Cows and horses on site and a short walk to the pond. Five days of fun with many attractions close by. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay.
