What guests say
If u don't want a commercialised, box of a room, with zero character & fake smile staff this is then the place for you to stay. Not modern/up to date, this little gem of a b&breakfast is just perfect. With character, history, peace & quiet for you to enjoy. Set in a utterly beautiful setting, our room overlooked a stunning lake, complete with swans. Even in the rain, it was a joy to wake up to. The full English breakfast was amazing, using fresh quality ingredients with tea, fresh coffee & orange juice quickly replenished if required. If u want a memorable, quality night or two away, you really wouldn't be disappointed here. We will definitely be coming back again.

Abbey Farm is one of those places that instantly make you feel at peace. The setting is beautiful and full of history surrounded by open fields, ancient trees, and the fascinating ruins of the old abbey just beside the house. You can really feel the sense of time and stories that live in the land. The rooms are spotless, cozy, and full of character, with lovely countryside views and thoughtful details that make everything feel personal and cared for. Breakfast is a proper, authentic English breakfast! Freshly cooked, generous, and absolutely delicious. Served with warmth and attention, it’s the perfect way to start a slow and peaceful morning. It’s the kind of place that makes you disconnect. Completely quiet, charming, and full of history. You sleep deeply, wake up to birdsong, and feel genuinely restored. A truly special place!

Abbey Farm B&B was an absolute gem—I loved it so much I extended my stay by three days. The warmth and kindness of the family were incomparable; they went above and beyond, from picking me up at the airport to helping with dinner reservations and accommodating my (many) odd requests without hesitation. The rooms were beautifully decorated, spacious, and incredibly cozy, with a spotless shower room that felt like a spa retreat. The breakfast? Hands down the best I’ve had in the last decade—fresh, delicious, and made with care. On top of all that, the location is perfect for commuting to nearby cities like Birmingham or Coventry while still feeling like a peaceful countryside escape. A massive thank you to Jen for her perfect attention to detail, Bill for his humor that made every morning brighter, Ryan for his fantastic dinner recommendations, and Lewis for kindly carrying all my bags from the car to my room. Truly an unforgettable stay—I can’t wait to return!

Oh what a treat it was to stay at Abbey Farm. We arrived on a cold autumnal afternoon and were greeted by the ever wonderful Jenny. She informed of us a local event happening in town for Christmas as we are so glad she did. We awoke to views of the lake with the swans hanging about and a delicious breakfast. Proper full English with some excellent chat thrown in. If we are ever back in this area we will book again. Thanks !!
