About York House Holiday Park
York House Holiday Park is a compact site for caravans and motorhomes in the Vale of York, just outside Thirsk. With only a handful of pitches, it is an intimate, low-key operation rather than a sprawling touring park—the kind of place where you are unlikely to find yourself surrounded by hundreds of other campers.
The site has showers on hand. The Old Barn Coffee Shop sits right next door, so you can grab breakfast or a drink without needing to leave the grounds. The quiet setting and small scale suit those looking for a relaxed stop rather than a hub of activity.

What visitors say
We have been visiting York House for the last 6 years running . Lovely ,tidy ,modern lodges , with WiFi and smart TV . Washing machine , oven , microwave and fridge freezer in a spacious kitchen .The grounds are well maintained with a combination of robot mowers and ground staff . Private dog walk fields , play equipment and sports field . On-site cars is 1st class , breakfasts , local ice cream and fresh cake all served with a smile . Close enough to Thirsk for supplies but far enough away that it is quiet and unspoiled with light pollution. New this season is access to the fishing lake with 6 or 7 well built fishing platforms and a list of the sensible rules by the combi lock pedestrian gate . Evenings spent on the wrap around decking is spent watching the gliders overhead who take off from nearby Sutton Bank. All in all a great place to use as a base for travelling around Yorkshire or just to stop , chill and unwind .

Me and my Mum stayed here for a week to celebrate my 31st Birthday back in July 2023. We both really enjoyed our stay. The caravan was immaculate, really clean! The park itself was really quiet and peaceful, with lovely views of the North York Moors, a good place to relax. The one-site cafe was lovely. Great food, friendly staff. My only gripe is there isn't a on-site shop and can be abit of a pain, travelling to nearby Thirsk all the time, but it is handy having Thirsk only 10 minutes away. I really did enjoy my stay here and didn't want to come back home haha! I will definitely be staying here again whenever I'm in Yorkshire!

We stayed in a caravan, beautiful quiet park, spotlessly clean, grounds very well kept, staff very helpful, central location, views beautiful, kids playpark and open ground away from the accommodation but very accessible, would highly recommend

First time staying at York House Holiday Park. Lovely well kept grounds in the most beautiful surroundings. Our caravan was spotless and had everything we needed. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Would stop again & would recommend. Kids enjoyed it and that's the main thing, they even helped finish the jigsaw in the games room.
