A Stone’s Throw

North Yorkshire

Whitby's clifftop setting makes it a natural base for exploring the North York Moors and the Heritage Coast. A Stone's Throw occupies the first floor of a converted Victorian house, positioned to overlook Pannett Park—its play areas are practically outside. The town itself spreads down towards the harbour, five minutes on foot, where fishing boats still work and the cobbled streets wind between fish and chip shops, pubs, cafés and restaurants that range from casual to award-winning.

The apartment holds three bedrooms (a double of 4ft 6in, another double of the same size, and a single), two bathrooms, and an open-plan living area across the kitchen, dining and lounge spaces. One bedroom has its own en-suite; the main bathroom includes a bath with shower. The kitchen is fully equipped—oven, hob, dishwasher, washer-dryer—so you can cook at leisure or grab something ready-made in town. Bed linen, towels, wifi and heating are included; there's on-road parking outside. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed.

This suits families wanting seaside access without fuss, or groups of friends looking for somewhere walkable. Dinosaur Coast Path and moorland walks start nearby. The building is non-smoking throughout.
