Abbeydale Town House

North Yorkshire

View on Google Maps

Abbeydale Town House is a Victorian terraced property in Whitby's West Cliff, thoroughly equipped for self-catering groups of up to six. The kitchen has an electric cooker, hob and microwave; a washing machine sits in the utility room. Essentials including wifi, bed linen, towels and heating are covered. The three bedrooms—one with a king bed, one with two singles, one with a double—each have their own or adjoining bathroom, and there's a further separate toilet on the ground floor where you'll find the living room with a 40-inch TV and gas fire.

The location sits a short walk from Whitby's working harbour and a large sandy beach, ringed by shops, pubs and restaurants within half a mile. Whitby Abbey dominates the hilltop above town; the Cleveland Way coastal path runs through, and the flatter Cinder Path railway conversion stretches toward Scarborough. Robin Hood's Bay, Staithes and Sandsend are all within short drives, as are the North York Moors inland. The property is no-smoking throughout.
