Alder is a converted stone barn in North Yorkshire with a hot tub set into the enclosed courtyard—a genuine draw for those wanting to soak under open air after days exploring the surrounding countryside. The single-storey layout keeps things straightforward and sociable. Two bedrooms sleep four; each has a zip-and-link bed that converts from super-king to twins, and there's a bathroom plus a separate cloakroom. The open-plan living area mixes exposed stone with modern finishes, warmed by underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove, while large doors open directly onto the courtyard.
The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking anything from breakfast to a full dinner. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included. There is car parking on site and the property is yours alone, making it suitable for families, couples or friends. Dogs are welcome and the fields immediately outside offer direct access to walking routes; Richmond, a historic market town, lies a scenic 25-minute walk away. The enclosed courtyard provides a private outdoor space with seating, and a barbecue is available for al fresco meals. Note there are two steps at the entrance. No smoking throughout the property.
