Ash Tree Cottage

Ash Tree Cottage is a two-bedroom ground-floor property on a working farm in the Vale of Pickering, surrounded by rolling countryside. The single bathroom and open-plan living space mean the layout is straightforward—everything on one level. One bedroom has a super kingsize bed, the other a single, sleeping three in total. The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering, with an oven, hob, dishwasher and washing machine. Wi-Fi and bed linen are included, and heating comes from an eco-friendly pellet boiler.

The cottage sits in genuine farmland with walking and cycling routes beginning at the gate. Kirkbymoorside, a market town with shops, pubs and tea rooms, is two miles away. Helmsley and its castle are also nearby, as are the coastal resorts of Whitby and Scarborough for a day out. One dog stays free of charge. There is parking on site and a patio with garden furniture. The cottage does not allow smoking.
