The North York Moors National Park, the Heritage Coast and numerous footpaths are all within reach of Oak Tree Cottage. Kirkbymoorside, a market town with tea rooms and restaurants, is five minutes by car. Nunnington Hall, Duncombe Park and Castle Howard are day-trip distance, as are the Eden Camp museum and the North York Moors Steam Railway. Quieter options include cycling the local lanes or walking from the cottage itself, with the Vale of Pickering spreading out beyond the garden.

This converted farm building has two bedrooms—a kingsize with ensuite shower and a twin—plus a second full bathroom. The ground floor is open plan, combining living space with a kitchen that has everything needed for self-catering: electric oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher and all the essentials. An enclosed patio and garden overlook open countryside. Bed linen and wifi are included; heating and hot water are covered. The cottage is yours alone, with private parking for one car. One pet is welcome at no extra charge.

The setting is genuinely rural—the cottage sits in a working farm's courtyard—yet Kirkbymoorside's shops and pubs are close enough to reach easily. No smoking inside.
