North Yorkshire

Seamer village sits four miles from Scarborough's seafront, within reach of several Yorkshire coastal towns and the North York Moors. Aysgarth Lodge occupies a quiet spot here, a ground-floor conversion with its own enclosed garden, parking for two cars, and a private hot tub on the patio. The village itself has a pub serving traditional food, a café with evening pizzas on weekends, a small supermarket and post office, a fish and chip shop, and a garden centre a mile away.

Inside, an open-plan kitchen and living space centres on a woodburner. The kitchen is fitted for proper cooking—electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, air fryer and coffee machine included. The first bedroom has a kingsize bed and ensuite shower; the second has two single beds (zipped together as a double if needed). The main bathroom has a bath with shower over it. Bed linen, towels, wifi and electricity are provided. One small dog stays free of charge.

From here you can reach Scarborough's two main bays, Cayton Bay and Filey within short drives, or venture further to Whitby, Robin Hood's Bay and Bridlington. The Cleveland Way footpath and numerous local walks through the Moors are accessible nearby. No smoking is allowed in the lodge.

A beautiful holiday cottage on a working far. The rooms are beautifully presented and spacious, including a corner bath and separate shower. The kitchen is very well equipped and it is less than 5 mins to the local shop. The host left essentials of tea , coffee, mum and delicious biscuits.

Lovely site, a half mile walk to the falls. The site is lovely and quiet, the on site restaurant serves great food and drinks, staff are very friendly and helpful. Only pity is that out of the Leisure resorts sites this is the only one not to have EV chargers, there are 2 at the nearby Yorkshire Dales authority car park but they are only 7kw. Overall a great location with good accommodation

We just returned from 4 nights stay, we had a lovely relaxing holiday! Really unsure how to articulate this one. The lodge needs tided up as first impressions of the outside was it needs painted. Also we paid £13 per day for the dog and had to ask for a pet pack which is usually left for us in the lodge on arrival. The decking area was covering in leaves and the hottub wasnt heating. Due to the lack of phone signal and no one in reception this wasnt resolved till the following morning so we felt disappointed. The sofa was marked and urine stains at the patio doors. The set up of the furniture was strange the sofa wasnt pointing at the TV. There is no dressing table in the bedrooms or plugs near mirror, not hooks for dressing gowns inside or outside. Also my hubby had to sleep in the spare room as the bed was so uncomfortable. The restaurant is very pricey and the service lacking for 5 stars, the food was quite nice. But they dont serve breakfast so that was disappointing. HOWEVER the lodge is a good size, private hottub area once working, was lovely. The site is well kept and is a lovely location. The area is amazing, fantastic views, very quiet and peaceful and close to Aysgarth falls which is a lovely walk. I used the brush provided to tidy up the patio area and that made it alot more pleasent. So we did enjoy the stay and would return to the site but would consider other options too considering everything.

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary and it didn't disappoint! Greeted on arrival with prosecco was just the best touch after a 2 hour drive. This is our second time staying here and it delivers everytime. I need to start taking photos of the food the bar and resteraunt had plenty to choose from and was of course dog friendly which is always nice to say "hello doggie" to every 4 legged fluffy ball that comes through the door lol. Nice walk out to the waterfalls and just a lovely chilled weekend for f doing absolutely nothing. The lodge was super private and couldn't fault it. Super clean and the bathrobes and slippers are a win win 🫶
