A Wonderful Evening at East Ayton Lodge Hotel I recently enjoyed a delightful dinner at the East Ayton Lodge Hotel in Scarborough while visiting friends in Snainton, and the experience was memorable from start to finish. The setting is peaceful and welcoming — a calm, friendly atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. It’s the sort of place where conversation flows easily and time seems to slow down in the best possible way. The food was delicious and our whole party of four left thoroughly satisfied. What truly elevated the evening, however, was the exceptional service. Our waiter, Yusuf, deserves special mention. He was warm, attentive, and consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Whether answering our many questions, offering helpful suggestions, or simply checking in with a genuine smile, he made us feel wonderfully cared for. His professionalism and kindness added a personal touch that transformed a lovely dinner into a truly memorable one. It’s rare to encounter service delivered with such sincerity and good humour. Yusuf is a credit to the establishment, and his presence alone would make me return. A heartfelt thank‑you to the entire team for a beautiful evening — and especially to Yusuf for making it exceptional.

Went here today for a sunday Roast. Not only was the roast dinner delicious, but it was so reasonably priced considering the amount of food you get. 2 courses for £20 and trust me they dont hold back on portion sizes for the dinner or the cake after. Children also eat for free! Amazing value and amazing food. Will definately be coning back here for my sunday roasts.

The room we were allocated was dark with one window that was opening on to the walkway to other rooms, it did have an aroma about it. No wi-fi in our room, but as soon as you walked into the main hotel entrance it worked. Was told that it had a remote pick up, not sure where? Very slippery floor in shower room and my wife slipped over. You can easily hear conversations that were taking place in other rooms. Breakfast was self service as the place was apparently heavily booked, and not enough staff. Limited parking when busy
