Bank Top Cottage is a single-storey property where everything unfolds on one level. You step into an open-plan living space with a wood burner, French doors that open onto a patio, and a kitchen fitted with an electric cooker, microwave and dishwasher. The bedroom holds a kingsize bed, and there's an ensuite bathroom with both bath and shower cubicle, plus a separate toilet. A small lawned garden with patio furniture and space for three cars complete the setup.
The cottage sits on the village edge near Cropton, with The New Inn pub just over 100 yards away. Pickering lies five miles south, marking the gateway to the North Yorkshire Moors. Cropton Forest offers immediate walking and cycling; further afield, Whitby, York, Scarborough and Robin Hood's Bay are all within 40 minutes' drive. The moorland roads between here and the coast carry the scenic routes made famous locally. Flamingo Land and Castle Howard are nearby attractions for families.
Essentials like bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are provided. The wood burner's initial fuel is included, and you have use of the owner's washing machine and tumble dryer. The property sleeps two; a travel cot and highchair are available. One dog is welcome. No smoking inside.
