April Cottage

Absolutely beautiful place. The owners are so friendly and accommodating. Continental breakfast was amazing but you could also have a cooked breakfast. Entered through the front door and living area down a flight of stairs, very cosy and beautiful. Go up a flight of stairs to bedroom which was very spacious with ensuite bathroom. Shower was a decent size too. Decor was amazing 😀🥰🤩. It was a lovely time to spend for our 29th Wedding anniversary! Thank you

Highly Recommended. I wasn't totally sure whether we had booked a B&B or a cottage, what we got was across between the two. This is a family home with one B&B room. As you go in the back door of the house, the family live on the right and the B&B bedroom & sitting room are on the left. Both rooms are very nicely furnished, immaculately clean, with everything you need. Good sized shower room with walk in shower. Lovely soft towels. There is a view of a secluded garden through French windows. The sitting room is downstairs, directly below the bedroom, and is for guests use. As they only let out one room, it means you have an exclusive, really pleasant and quite large sitting room/breakfast room. The hosts are very friendly and made us feel welcome. The breakfast was huge and really good quality. Fresh fruit, cereals, fresh home baked bread and croissants, and a cooked full English. We skipped the full English the second day because we enjoyed the cold stuff so much and were just full. Certainly we would like to return, we think it's one of the best B&B's we've stayed in. Lastingham is a very attractive village. We ate in the village pub which is just a few minutes’ walk. The locals were very welcoming and the food was good too. All in all a really pleasant few days.

Just arrived back from this beautiful B and B. It is a family home which only lets out one room but you also have the use of a sitting room where you eat your breakfast. The room is sparklingly clean with a Juliette balcony which looks out over the garden and moors beyond. The bed is so comfy and I slept really well. Breakfast is excellent from fresh fruit, cereals, Danish pastries, fresh bread and full English. There is nothing that you could add to make it better. We shall definitely return to this lovely little gem.

We had the most wonderful time staying at April Cottage. It is a beautiful house in a beautiful village in a beautiful area. Our hosts were second to none. Nothing too much trouble. Oh , the breakfasts. Yum Yum , mouth still watering. Thank you so much , telling all of our friends and cannot wait to return. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Five stars do not do justice , here’s Ten
