This Grade II listed cottage sits in Ripon itself, a couple of minutes' walk from the cathedral and near enough to Studley Royal and Fountains Abbey that they're reachable on foot or a short drive. The city has independent cafés, restaurants and shops to explore. One well-behaved dog can stay free. No smoking inside; check-in is after 15:00 and you leave by 11:00.
