A utility room with separate fridge and freezer, plus a study, complete the ground floor. Upstairs are three bedrooms: the first with a super king bed and ensuite shower, the second with a double bed and ensuite bath, and the third with two singles sharing a jack-and-jill arrangement with the second bedroom. Two full bathrooms mean no queuing in the mornings. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all included; logs for the stove come with the booking.

Five eating places lie within a few minutes' walk, among them award-winning pubs and restaurants alongside a village shop. The cottage has a south-facing enclosed front patio with garden furniture, off-road parking immediately outside, and a bike store for exploring the valley. Walking routes begin from the doorstep into some of the Dales' most striking scenery. Grassington, 7 miles away, hosts arts and winter festivals. Skipton market town is just over 14 miles distant. One well-behaved dog is welcome. No smoking inside.
