Caretaker’s Cottage
North Yorkshire
View on Google MapsPhoto: Mandy Reen
This former church caretaker's cottage dates from the 1850s and sits in High Row Beck, a village location within walking distance of The Black Bull and surrounded by countryside. The property sleeps three across two bedrooms—a king-size and a single—with one bathroom upstairs. Downstairs, a living room with smart TV and electric woodburner opens onto a kitchen/dining space with cooker, dishwasher, washing machine and other basics for self-catering. The back garden has seating and furniture for outdoor time.
The essentials are covered: heating, electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are all included. One pet stays free. The cottage works for couples, small families or solo visitors, though note it's a no-smoking property. The Dales and wider Yorkshire landscape are accessible from here, and walking routes start from the door—everything from gentle riverside walks to longer fell expeditions. The village pub is within easy reach for evenings out.
