The waterfall and river are the real draw here. Cauldron Falls occupies the first floor of a 17th-century watermill in West Burton, and the grounds include Walden Beck with a fenced waterfall about 110 yards away—close enough to visit easily, far enough to feel properly wild. Benches line the riverbank for picnics or simply sitting. The village itself sits around a green, with a pub within walking distance and a shop nearby. Leyburn and Hawes are short drives away if you want market-town wandering or to visit Bolton Castle and Aysgarth Falls.
The apartment sleeps two in a kingsize bed and has everything for a self-catering stay: a full kitchen with electric cooker and dishwasher, open-plan living space with a 43-inch TV, and a shower room. Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included. There's parking for one car on site, with additional off-road spaces available. The entrance involves four steps.
This is a couples' retreat in a genuinely peaceful spot, with walks starting from the doorstep into the Dales. No smoking indoors.

I found this waterfall on the maps so decided we should check it out on our visit to the Yorkshire dales not knowing what to expect, we had to park up in the village opposite the green as there isn't really a car park at the falls but the walk to get to the bridge and waterfall wasn't long at all. The walk which is only very short takes you past some beautiful little cottages on the right and on the left is the bridge and plunge pool which people were swimming in, we chose to go for the left option to try and get to the waterfall not realizing that over the bridge there is a path that leads straight to the waterfal itselfl, this meant we were clambering over rocks in the water to get to the right side however it all added to the fun. You can get right up to the waterfall and could most definitely go for a paddle in the waters in front of it. Didn't have our swimming gear with us this time but we certainly had a wade in the stream and with all the minerals in the water my skin felt fabulous afterwards. In the village which is stunning there is a gorgeous little gift and tea room, the village has a pub and all the while set against the backdrop of the Yorkshire dales which tower over the village for dramatic effect .... You're not going to spend all day here but if you want a gorgeous easy accessible waterfall and a cheeky swim this really is where you should go.

Beautiful little falls with small pool at bottom. There are paths to both sides. I went after very little rain for weeks so pool was shallow but falls were still flowing.

This is a lovely relaxing place to visit just a short walk from the lovely village of West Burton. The waterfall is stunning and there are seats available on the short walk to sit and admire the views. Lovely sunny day when we visited which was a bonus.

Great place for a wild swim. There is a tiny wee path down the side of the bridge. You then go under the bridge and the locals appear to have dammed off a bit which is deep enough to swim but not deep enough to be dangerous. Class.
