Fylingthorpe sits on the Yorkshire Coast within walking distance of Robin Hood's Bay, where the village tumbles down the cliffsides to a sandy beach and rock pools. Chapel Cottage is a converted Methodist chapel building from the 18th century, now a self-contained holiday home for four. Two bedrooms upstairs—a double and a single—plus a sofa bed in the lounge downstairs means flexible sleeping arrangements. The ground floor has a sitting room with a gas stove, a separate kitchen with a range and full appliances, and a bathroom with both bath and shower.
The kitchen works for proper cooking rather than heating up takeaways, with a dishwasher if you'd rather not wash up. An enclosed garden to the rear provides an outdoor space away from the road, which suits the one pet you can bring at no extra cost. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all included. The village has a family pub and a shop selling groceries and homemade cakes within close reach. From here you can walk down to Robin Hood's Bay in minutes, or explore the coves and beaches further along the coast. No smoking indoors.
