Chestnut Cottage

Chestnut Cottage is a self-contained one-bedroom property in the village of Hellifield, sleeping two. The kitchen comes equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer—so you can prepare meals rather than relying on takeaways. A woodburner heats the living room, and initial logs are provided. The double bedroom is upstairs, with a bathroom offering a bath, shower and heated towel rail. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included.

Downstairs, the living area has a 26" Freeview TV and Blu-ray player for quieter evenings. Outside, there's a shared seating area and a shed for storing walking kit. A free public car park is nearby. The cottage sits back from the village road, close to local shops and restaurants. Note that smoking is not permitted.

Hellifield is positioned for access to the Forest of Bowland and the Yorkshire Dales—both serious walking country. Malham, with its cove and Gordale Scar, is within reach, as are smaller villages like Bolton-by-Bowland and Airton.
