Lancashire and Yorkshire Cottage

Lancashire and Yorkshire Cottage is a four-bedroom property in Hellifield that comes ready for a week away. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and washing machine, so you can cook or let the appliances do the work. There are two bathrooms—one with a bath and shower, one ensuite with a cubicle shower. Electricity, heating, wifi and bed linen are all included, along with fuel for the wood burner that sits in both the living room and dining room. One dog stays free.

The ground floor holds the living room with a smart TV and woodburner, plus a dining room and kitchen. Upstairs are three bedrooms: a kingsize, a single with a pull-out single bed, and a double with a single. The top floor has the fourth bedroom (another kingsize) and the ensuite. A travel cot and highchair are available. You have private parking for two cars and a garden with patio space at the rear, though there are steps back there. The property is non-smoking. Hellifield station is half a mile away on the Carlisle-Settle-Skipton-Leeds line, putting train-based days out within reach.
