Skipton sits at the southern edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, where moorland opens up into river valleys and stone villages. Dipper Fold is a five-bedroom property sleeping ten, positioned to be a base for walking straight from the door—the Dales' footpaths begin immediately. The village itself is quiet, though The Old School Tea Room and a local pub are within reach on foot.
Inside, the cottage has five bedrooms across two floors, each with two single beds, and three bathrooms between them. Ground floor includes a living room, dining space, and a kitchen equipped for cooking proper meals rather than holiday shortcuts. The bedrooms on the first floor share bathroom facilities; one bedroom has an ensuite. An enclosed garden with patio and seating looks out over the surroundings, and parking for three cars sits on the property. Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are provided; heating and electricity are included. One dog is welcome at no extra cost.
This works best for large family groups or friends travelling together who want self-catering space without fuss. From here, Grassington, Burnsall and Pateley Bridge are short drives away, each with their own character—cobbled streets, independent shops, traditional pubs. No smoking inside the property.

Needs a deep down clean. Comfortable sofas. Basic tv channels. Garden not secure for dogs due to big gaps under gate. Downstairs shower is a narrow opening. Family bathroom shower not suitable to use as a body shower. Large kitchen well equipped. Good location.

Brilliant location, great holiday home. Beds comfortable great set up. Only four stars as struggled with WiFi but could be due to rural location.
