Elm Cottage comes ready for immediate use. The kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, so you can cook, clean and do laundry without bringing anything extra. Heating, electricity, wifi and bed linen are all covered. The living room has a Freeview TV and DVD player, and there's an open fire for colder evenings. Three bedrooms sleep up to seven: two doubles upstairs, plus a third room with bunk beds and pull-out single beds (the pull-outs are for children and must be booked in advance). Two bathrooms serve the property—one is ensuite to the main bedroom.
The cottage sits in a hamlet in the Yorkshire Dales, with the Dales Way footpath running past the front door and the Pennine Way within reach. The enclosed south-facing garden overlooks Oughtershaw Beck and has a patio with furniture. On-site parking fits one car, with additional space available on the road. Hawes, a market town 6 miles away, has shops and restaurants. Attractions nearby include Wensleydale Creamery, Gayle Mill and the Red Squirrel Sanctuary. Three country pubs are within 6 miles. No smoking indoors.
