Beckermonds sits at the meeting point of two becks where the River Wharfe begins its path through the Yorkshire Dales. Wood's Barn occupies one of only five houses in this secluded hamlet, making it genuinely quiet countryside. The location is built for walking: memorable routes start from the door, there are three pubs within five miles on an eleven-mile circuit, and Hawes market town is seven miles away for supplies and restaurants. A trout stream nearby offers free fishing from March to September.
The barn sleeps six across three bedrooms: a super kingsize and two rooms with single beds. Downstairs holds a living and dining space with a woodburner (fuel included), kitchen equipped for proper cooking, and a bathroom with bath and shower. Upstairs bedrooms and an enclosed west-facing garden with patio and barbecue complete the layout. Parking for two cars sits on site, along with a bike store. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. The garden regularly draws red squirrels and local wildlife. One well-behaved pet stays free. The property draws water from a spring and does not permit smoking.
