Gayle Farmhouse
North Yorkshire
Gayle is a small village in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, within walking distance of Hawes and close to the Pennine Way. A stream with waterfalls runs near the cottage, and the Settle-Carlisle railway is a few miles away at Garsdale station. The pub is within a mile.
Gayle Farmhouse is a traditional stone building with beamed ceilings, real open fires and carpeted rooms throughout. Downstairs there is a living room with TV and Freesat, a dining room, and a kitchen fitted with two electric ovens, a ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. A utility room houses a freezer and washer-dryer. The bathroom has a corner bath and cubicle shower. Upstairs are four bedrooms: two doubles (4ft 6in) and two singles (3ft), sleeping six in total. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included; fuel for the open fire is provided. There is a cot, highchair and baby bath available. One well-behaved pet stays free. The property has steep or narrow stairs in places, and there is no garden.
