Grassgarth Cottage sits in Redmire, a village in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales with immediate access to some of the region's finest walking and cycling country. The circular route from Redmire takes in both Redmire Falls and Aysgarth Falls, passes Castle Bolton, and winds through Lower Wensleydale with views across to Penhill. The village pub—completely refurbished in 2023—is just 20 yards away and serves local beers, breakfasts and pub food. A fish and chip van arrives on Wednesday evenings.
The cottage sleeps five across three bedrooms: a double, twin and single. The ground floor holds a living room with wood burner effect and FreeSat TV, plus a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—oven, hob, dishwasher and everything else needed. Upstairs is a shower room. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included. There is on-site parking for one car and an enclosed garden with seating and a barbecue, though note there is a step in the courtyard which has shared access. One dog stays free, and the owners provide a bed, bowls and treats. No smoking in the property.
