Redmire is a small village in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, four miles west of Leyburn. The village has its own station on the Wensleydale Railway, and is surrounded by country walks and views across Lower Wensleydale. A pub sits within a mile. Sweet Pea Cottage is a terraced house here, done up with country character—beamed ceilings and a woodburner in the living room, a modern kitchen with a full range of equipment, and an enclosed courtyard garden to the rear with furniture for sitting out.
Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a king bed, one with two singles. There is one bathroom with a bath and shower. The property sleeps four and is yours alone for the duration of your stay. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and initial logs for the woodburner are included. There is a step at the entrance and another in the courtyard. The property has a natural water supply. One well-behaved pet is welcome. No smoking indoors.
The cottage suits couples or small families wanting a base in the Dales. The kitchen is set up for proper cooking rather than heating ready meals. There is on-road parking outside, and a travel cot and highchair available on request.
