Greenfield sits on open countryside at the fringe of Easingwold, a Georgian market town an easy walk or short drive away. The village itself has independent shops, cafés and traditional pubs around its cobbled square. From here you can reach the ruins of Byland and Rievaulx abbeys, or venture further into North Yorkshire to explore York, Thirsk and the surrounding landscape—good terrain for walking and cycling.

The cottage is a single storey with a double bedroom and bathroom upstairs, and a combined living and dining room on the ground floor. The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering, with an electric hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave and air fryer; it overlooks the back garden and fields beyond. A wood-effect electric fire warms the main room. Outside there is a patio with garden furniture and parking for two cars. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all provided. One well-behaved dog can stay at no extra charge.

The cottage suits couples wanting a quiet base in rural North Yorkshire. It is a no-smoking property.
