We had a very pleasant experience at the George. We got parked easily the check in process was simple. Rooms are in good decrotive order and beds comfy. Tea & coffee fridge. The food in the restaurant is very good the service is faultless. Good selection of wines and beers. Breakfast is included in the room price and the Yorkshire breakfast (full English) is absolutely on point. Lovely breakfast staff on hand means you want for nothing to enjoy your breakfast.

We have stayed here at the George every few months for years and have to say it just gets better and better. Paul is simply unrivalled for service and attention to detail. Food and service is excellent, an expansive in choice and catering for all dietary requirements. Tonight we have enjoyed their roasts and desserts, excellent wine recommendations and just brilliant service from Theo. Thanks for always looking after us Paul and team x

I went with friends for a meal on a Wednesday evening - very busy with a lovely atmosphere. Super attentive, friendly staff. Our meal and drinks were great - good sized fish and chips was lightly battered, lamb rump was an extremely generous portion, tender and not over cooked and the chicken dish was again a generous portion size, and super tasty. Highly recommend.

Easily best pub in Easingwold. Great range of beer, lovely staff and food is excellent too. Love coming here, grabbing a well kept pint of cask and sitting outside the front watching the world go by.
