Grey Gull
North Yorkshire
Walking through the entrance of Grey Gull, you step into a ground-floor living and dining room with high period ceilings and a bay window flooding the space with light. A sofa and armchair face a Smart TV; the fireplace adds warmth to the room. The adjacent kitchen is fitted for actual cooking—electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave—and a back door opens to a covered patio ideal for bikes or a pram. One dog can stay free of charge.
Upstairs, the first floor has a kingsize bedroom and a twin bedroom, served by a bathroom with a bath and shower and a separate shower room. The second floor is a different proposition: a double bedroom tucked under a vaulted ceiling with Velux windows above, creating an airy, quiet retreat. The cottage sleeps six across its three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are covered; a travel cot and highchair are available if needed.
Whitby's harbour is within walking distance. The town's cobbled old town, the Abbey, and the Captain Cook Museum are all nearby. A pub sits within a mile. There is on-road parking and a bike store. The property does not permit smoking.
