High Nook

North Yorkshire

High Nook began life as a sea captain's residence, and its grand proportions speak to that heritage. The house commands views across the countryside towards the cliff edge, with Low Nook visible below at the foot of Ravenscar cliffs—a known haunt for basking seals. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms accommodate six guests across two floors; the master bedroom captures those cliff and sea views, while two twin rooms complete the sleeping arrangements.

The ground floor spreads across a proper living room with a woodburner and bay windows, a kitchen with marble worktops and a separate dining table, and a bonus sunroom that overlooks the enclosed garden. A utility room handles laundry. The driveway allows parking for three cars, and the rear garden offers decking, furniture and a barbecue. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included; the woodburner's initial fuel comes with the property too. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. One dog is welcome.

Fylingthorpe village lies a short walk away, with a pub serving food, a play area and a corner shop. The location puts you between Robin Hood's Bay and the North York Moors, though it's the coastal position and the views that define a stay here. No smoking inside.
