Hill View Cottage

Sleights is a working village in the Esk Valley, close enough to Whitby for a day out but far enough for genuine quiet. Hill View Cottage is a single-storey property here, sleeping four across two bedrooms—a double and two singles—with one shower room. Everything is on the ground floor, and there is parking for two cars on site plus an enclosed lawned courtyard with patio.

The kitchen has a gas hob and electric oven, a dishwasher, and everything needed to cook properly. The living room has a TV and DVD player. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. A welcome pack and travel cot come with the booking. No smoking is permitted.

The village itself is walkable—a supermarket, café, butchers and bakers are minutes away. Whitby is four miles south, famous for its cobbled streets, harbour, beaches and independent shops. Briggswath and Ruswarp, both on the river with boating, tea rooms and a miniature railway, are also within easy reach. The North York Moors lie inland.
