Honey Cottage is a Victorian property that has been thoroughly renovated while keeping its period character intact. It sits on the village green in Gargrave, a small settlement on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, with the River Aire just a short walk away. The cottage has been rewired, replumbed and refitted throughout, giving it modern comfort without stripping away its charm.
The ground floor holds a living room with a wood-burning stove, a kitchen with electric cooking and a dishwasher, and a utility room with washing machine and extra toilet. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a king bed, the other with zip-and-link beds that can be separated into singles—and a bathroom with both bath and walk-in shower. Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are all included; the wood-burner gets its first load of logs free. One small dog stays at no extra cost, and there's an enclosed front garden plus rear yard. The cottage is non-smoking throughout.
Gargrave has a small supermarket, cafés, takeaways and two pubs all within walking distance. The Pennine Way and Settle-Carlisle Railway are nearby on foot, and Skipton market town is a short train ride away. On-road parking is available outside the property.
