Kirkbymoorside sits on the edge of the North York Moors, within reach of Helmsley, Pickering and York. The area draws walkers and cyclists in for the routes across the moorland, and the steam train runs through Pickering. A pub lies within a mile of the cottage itself. 1 Keldholme Cottage is a stone-built property in the hamlet of Keldholme, just outside the market town.

The cottage holds two bedrooms—a kingsize and a single—and one bathroom with a bath and shower. Downstairs, a living room with a wood burner opens through to a kitchen and dining space with electric oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are covered, along with initial logs for the burner. Board games and a smart TV are provided. From the kitchen, you step out onto a shared garden with your own private patio, garden furniture and a barbecue. One dog is welcome free of charge and should be kept on a lead—this is sheep country. Parking for one car is on-site, with additional spaces on the road. The property is entirely yours for the duration of your stay. No smoking inside.
