The kitchen is properly equipped—electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge and microwave—meaning you can cook as much or as little as you like. A woodburner in the living room provides warmth and character, and initial logs are provided.

The cottage sleeps three across two bedrooms: a kingsize upstairs and a single, plus a sofa bed downstairs if needed. There's one bathroom with a shower. Downstairs you get a living room with a 43-inch Smart TV and comfortable seating, and the kitchen-dining area opens onto an enclosed garden with a patio, barbecue and private parking for two cars. One dog stays free. The property is in Keldholme hamlet, just under a mile from Kirkbymoorside and within reach of the North York Moors, Helmsley, Pickering and York. No smoking in the cottage.
