Lighthouse Point is a working lighthouse, a Grade II listed structure on the Spurn Heritage Coast between Hull and the Humber. The building itself is the draw—a Victorian lighthouse with character that comes from genuine age and purpose rather than pastiche. Climbing to the top rewards you with views across the coast and over the heritage landscape; the displays inside trace the area's maritime past.
The accommodation fits four people into one bedroom. You have the whole property to yourself. Essentials are covered: electricity, bed linen and towels are included. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering. There is a pub within a mile. The setting is rural and quiet; this is a working heritage site, not a resort with activities laid on.

Easington Lighthouse is an absolutely stunning and unforgettable place to visit. From the moment I arrived, I was amazed by the beautiful coastal scenery, peaceful atmosphere, and the impressive appearance of the lighthouse itself. Standing proudly near the shoreline, the lighthouse creates a perfect combination of history, nature, and breathtaking views that make the visit truly special. One of the highlights of the experience was the incredible panoramic view from the top of the lighthouse. Looking out across the coastline, sandy beaches, and open sea was absolutely breathtaking. The climb to the top is well worth it, and the views create amazing opportunities for photography and memorable moments. The surrounding area is calm, clean, and perfect for relaxing walks while enjoying the fresh sea air. The lighthouse is also full of fascinating history, which makes the visit both educational and enjoyable. The staff and guides were friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, sharing interesting stories and information about the lighthouse and the local area. Everything was well maintained and organized, creating a comfortable and enjoyable experience for visitors of all ages. What makes Easington Lighthouse so special is the peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty surrounding it. Whether you are interested in history, coastal landscapes, photography, or simply looking for a relaxing day out, this place has something wonderful to offer. Went during a wet weekday in summer holidays, so was pleased to see it open as Google said it wouldn't be. £4 adult entry or £10 for a family. Which, I guess is quite reasonable really to see something a bit different to the normal. There are 4 levels of displays including a bit of history of the area and why the lighthouses were there. Fairly interesting, but really only there for the view to see how far you had walked, and actually how far it is to the end of the point! You can't go outside on the balcony, but you can stand where the light used to be. As it was quiet we spent a good 20 minutes at the top and around an hour there in total. They sell cans of pop and chocolate bars and ice cream tubs at the bottom. The chap there was very nice and chatty and I could imagine him in his sou'westers on a wet and dark night keeping the light on (probably akin to an episode of Scooby Doo...) 🙂
