Lilac Cottage

Lilac Cottage works well for families or small groups wanting a proper base in mid-Wensleydale. The three bedrooms—a double with ensuite, a kingsize and a single—sleep up to five, with a second bathroom serving the other bedrooms. One dog stays free. You get the whole place to yourself, with off-street parking for two cars and an enclosed garden with seating.

The layout splits across two floors. Downstairs there's a living room with a multi-fuel burner, a separate kitchen/dining room fitted with a cooker, dishwasher and washing machine, and a toilet. Upstairs holds all three bedrooms and a shower room. Essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are covered. The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering. Redmire sits in Wensleydale with Leyburn a few miles away. Aysgarth Falls, Bolton Castle and the surrounding villages are within reach for days out, and there's a pub in the village itself. Walks and cycle routes start from the cottage—a bike store is on site if you're bringing your own. The property draws from a natural spring water supply.
