Pickering, Kirkbymoorside and Malton are all nearby market towns; York is within reach for a day out; Scarborough and Whitby sit on the coast about 18 miles away. The North Yorkshire Moors National Park starts at the edge of the property itself. A pub and restaurant are less than half a mile off, and there's a shop four miles away. Loand House Court – Cruck is a converted farm building on the southern side of the moors, between the villages of Cropton and Wrelton.
The cottage holds two people in one bedroom with a kingsize bed. The ensuite has a bath with a shower over it. Upstairs, an open-plan living space combines a sitting area with Freeview TV and DVD player, a dining zone and a kitchen equipped with an electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. The essentials are covered: Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels all come as standard. On-site parking is provided for one car. The building is non-smoking.
External facilities shared with other guests include a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer in a utility room, plus a lawned garden with a courtyard, seating area and shared barbecue. A bike store is available. Travel cots and highchairs can be requested in advance.

We had the Cruck House for a weekend! It was absolutely fantastic! Clean and very well appointed with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable furniture. It was warm, quiet and cosy - just what we wanted! Very conveniently located to explore the delights of North Yorkshire! Our hosts were truly lovely. The bread was delicious and the apple juice scrumptious! We will be back!

We stayed at Cruck Cottage in September 2018. What a gorgeous place. It was just perfect for us - we loved everything about it. The accommodation is top class, lovely area, friendly owners. There is nothing the owners haven't thought about and provided. In all honesty, we didn't want to leave!
