Photo: Malham Glamping Pods

Couples after a quieter break and families wanting to introduce children to countryside life will both find Ewe Moor works well. The pod sits on Town Head Farm, a working property near Airton, and sleeps up to four—a double bed in the bedroom, a sofa bed in the living area. Everything is on the ground floor, accessed via three steps, with a shower room and a kitchen area fitted for basic cooking: electric hob, microwave and fridge mean you can manage breakfast and simple suppers without leaving the site.

The whole place is yours alone. A back garden with seating and a firepit gives you outdoor space, and there's parking for one car on site. Heating and hot water are included, along with Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels. The main draw is the setting—moorland views across the Dales, and on clear days Malham Cove visible from your window. Mornings here mean birdsong and grazing sheep rather than traffic noise. The location suits walkers heading for the surrounding fells and anyone wanting to explore the National Park villages without staying in town itself. Note that the farm is a working concern, and smoking is not permitted in the pod.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Glamping Pads. We stayed for 3 nights and from the moment we arrived, with a welcome basket, to a cheery goodby from Julie on our way out, our experience was wonderful. The pad is perfectly sized and designed, and came with a thick guidebook on everything we needed to know from how to operate everything to walks in the area. The Pad is in the center of everything, but it truly feels like your little oasis. We highly recommend; enjoy!

We had such a lovely stay at this glamping site in Malham. The pods were spotless, cozy, and really well equipped — warm, comfortable, and ideal after a long day exploring. We walked up to Malham Cove, which was absolutely stunning, and then wandered over to Janet’s Foss for a dip — such a magical spot! We also grabbed an amazing sausage roll and an unreal hot chocolate from a good van near Janet’s Foss, which was the perfect treat after our walk. Everything about the stay felt relaxed and welcoming. The location is beautiful and peaceful, with great access to all the main walks. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a countryside escape with a touch of comfort — we’ll definitely be back!

We really loved our stay at the glamping pods. It had everything we needed for a short stay.Very cosy and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The owners were very helpful and friendly. It was relaxing and quiet and so nice to see the sheep grazing nearby. If we are in the area we would not hesitate to book again, and recommend the pods to anyone looking for a peaceful holiday.

We had a wonderful couple of nights staying at Malham Glamping Pods. The pod was immaculately clean, comfortable and warm on a chilly weekend. Simon & Julie were most welcoming and made us feel at home straight away. There was a lovely welcome pack with tea, coffee, milk and snacks which we put to good use while enjoying our walk. The area around Malham has a number of different walks varying in difficulty ( we chose the Malham Cove , Gordale Scar, Janet's Foss route ) which has beautiful views. A couple of pints and a bite to eat in the Lister Arms finished the day off nicely. A most enjoyable weekend and we will definitely return to Malham Glamping Pods. Thank you Simon & Julie Phil & Helen
